Time warner cable dvr's?

I know some DVR's have external hard drive storage. I can get one for my TiVo, but you would have to call Time Warner and ask them. Good Luck on that. I had one of theirs and I did like it but now that I know how much better TiVo is I do not like the Time Warner DVR's anymore. With mine I can even store programs on my computer's hard drive from my TiVo. Look into slingbox. I know there is a lot that it can do. I think with slingbox you can connect your DVR to it, then the slingbox connnects to your computer. If you get an external hard drive for your computer, like the passport, then maybe you can get it to work that way. I think it would be worth your while to look into the slingbox. http://www.circuitcity.com/ I just went there. It will work!! do a search for the "slingbox". Good Luck

Asthma!!!!?

While natural remedies and fish oil is good for your lungs, it could be a hit or miss situation. They work for some and not for others. The best non medication treatment for asthma is to learn your asthma triggers and avoid those triggers. If you can't identify them or can't avoid them, you will need prescription medications. The best thing would be to see your doctor. Talk about your asthma action plan. You should have a plan that tells you when to use each medication and how to use them. Maybe your missing something that could be contributing to your shortness of breath. If you are doing everything right, you may need an increase in your dose of advair OR a new medication. Ask about Singulair. Its a once a day pill for the prevention of asthma and allergies. There are other pills out there like Singulair however Singulair is the only one in that class indicated for asthma and allergies. Good luck.

When Can I make the jump to a 4 year college?

well, most 4 year universities require that transfer students have a certain amount of criteria to even be eligible to be a transfer student. -------- so.... first, search for what you want to major in...*i think you'd have to declare what you would like to major in when you apply* then, find places you would like to go that have your major. don't forget: is money a factor? --out of state tuition is higher than in-state, but for private schools, it doesn't matter is distance a factor? --it costs money and time to travel home (also a hassle when moving lots of stuff), would you get homesick? think of the weather in that area, do you like sun? cold? rain? do you have allergies?? etc. the surrounding areas: do you want a beach setting, mountains, quiet town, loud town, lots or little things to do? do you care about reputation of the school? ex: UCSB is known as a big party school, (do you want to be apart of the party lifestyle??) or do you even care? ---- and then, once you've found these places---look at all of the requirements that need to be satisfied in order to get into these places. it is best to visit and take a campus tour, talk to an admissions advisor, and student advisors and get a feel for the lifestyle and really understand the academic environment that you will be enveloping yourself into. remember other factors too---does the campus fit into your lifestyle? are you a hippy/artist/musician/scientist/lawyer/etc?? will you be able to thrive in this environment? and will you have all the tools necessary for you to live and succeed their? **if you're into intramural sports, or particular clubs and etc..don't forget to check those out, especially if that becomes a deciding factor. check out www.collegeboard.com and www.collegeconfidential.com and look for the message boards. good luck!!

Resume help?

Under Objective section of resume put To acquire a position as an administrative assistant. You can just keep it that general and not worry about making it speciftic for each job you apply to. Under duties, save customer service skills for the skills section. I would change the interacted with merchandise and money part, but I'm not sure how you should word it. Maybe ran the cash register. You could put that you helped customers find things or stocked the shelves or just think of every little thing that you did. Don't put "them" in drove them to activities. Maybe put chauffered kids to their activities. Under skills put customer skills, computer literate, put the different computer programs that you know ( MS word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, etc.), type __ wpm, and your different attributes such as responsible, punctual, reliable, etc.
